  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for one minute. Add heavy cream, whole milk, and cream cheese; mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese and additional Cajun seasoning until thickened; add reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Toss cooked penne into the sauce, then return steak tips to combine. Heat together for 2 minutes before serving.
