Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 6 oz Velveeta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (10-11 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook chicken seasoned with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder over medium-high heat until golden brown (8-10 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic for a minute, then add heavy cream and milk. Let it simmer before adding Velveeta cheese until melted.
  4. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until smooth. Add Cajun seasoning and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Mix cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  6. Serve the cheesy pasta topped with chicken and garnish with parsley if desired.
