  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tube (8-count) crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (optional for added crunch)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (for sauce)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (for sauce)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, black pepper, and melted butter until creamy.
  3. Unroll crescent dough into triangles and flatten slightly.
  4. Spoon chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle; fold and seal edges.
  5. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with panko if desired.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For the sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk and cream until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese.
