  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar.
  3. Unroll one package of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  5. Pour cheesecake filling over the dough layer.
  6. Cover with the second package of crescent roll dough and seal any gaps.
  7. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Bake for about 28 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
