  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 250g orzo pasta
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200g broccoli florets
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sear the seasoned chicken for about 5-6 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the orzo pasta and cook for 1-2 minutes while stirring.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and simmer for about 8 minutes until most liquid is absorbed.
  6. Add heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and broccoli florets; stir well and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the pan; mix gently and serve warm garnished with fresh parsley.
