Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for topping)
  • ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour, 1 ½ teaspoons instant yeast, and 1 teaspoon salt. Gradually stir in ¾ cup warm water and 2 tablespoons olive oil until a shaggy dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place it in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  4. Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 portions. Shape into balls and place in the muffin cups. Let rest for 20 minutes.
  5. Mix together minced garlic, chopped rosemary, olive oil, flaky sea salt, and black pepper. Press dimples into each muffin ball and spoon the mixture over them.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
