  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 23 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt or loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Alternately add the dry ingredients and whole milk to the mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter until well combined.
  8. Pour half of the batter into your prepared pan.
  9. Spoon half of the cinnamon swirl mixture over this batter layer.
  10. Pour remaining batter on top of the swirl mixture.
  11. Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon swirl over the top and gently swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
  12. Bake in preheated oven for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  13. In a medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  14. Adjust milk amount to achieve desired consistency.
  15. Drizzle glaze over warm cake once it’s out of the oven.
