Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 2.53 cups water or broth
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add steak pieces seasoned with salt and pepper; sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes; cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Add uncooked rotini pasta and water or broth; bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for about 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once pasta is al dente, return steak to the skillet and mix well to coat everything in the sauce.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving hot.
